Why Implementations Fail

Going live is easy. Getting it used is the work.

Many ERPNext projects go live and then quietly fail. The setup was copied from a template instead of your processes, opening balances never quite matched, custom features were bolted on that nobody maintains, and the team went back to spreadsheets.

We start from how your business actually runs, migrate data you can trust, keep customisation lean and upgrade-safe, and stay through the first months until ERPNext is how your team works every day.

What's Included

Everything from process study to go-live.

Process study & fit-gap

Workshops on how you buy, sell, stock, make and account, then a written map of what ERPNext covers out of the box and what needs configuring or building.

Configuration

Companies, chart of accounts, taxes, warehouses, price lists, naming series, roles and permissions, approval workflows and print formats, set up for you, not left at defaults.

Data migration

Customers, suppliers, items, opening balances and opening stock, cleaned and reconciled against your old system, with a parallel run before you switch over.

Upgrade-safe customisation

Custom fields, reports, dashboards and doctypes in a separate, version-controlled Frappe app. Never edits to ERPNext's core, so upgrades stay safe.

Training & go-live support

Role-based training for each team, short how-to guides, and close support through go-live and the first month-end close.

Modules

The ERPNext modules we implement.

Start with what you need now and add modules as you grow. It's all one system with one database.

Module What we set up
Accounting Chart of accounts, taxes, banking and payment reconciliation, cost centres, budgets, multi-currency and multi-company
Selling & CRM Leads, quotations, sales orders, price lists, pricing rules and invoicing
Buying Material requests, supplier quotations, purchase orders with approval workflows, landed costs
Stock Warehouses, batches and serial numbers, barcodes, reorder levels and stock reconciliation
Manufacturing Bills of materials, work orders, repacking and production planning
HR & Payroll Employees, onboarding, attendance, leave, salary structures, payroll and document-expiry alerts
Projects Projects, tasks, timesheets and project-wise costing
Point of Sale POS profiles for counters and stores, with stock and accounts updated live
How It Works

A clear plan, tested before go-live.

  1. Discover & design

Process workshops and a fit-gap review, then a written proposal with scope, timeline and a fixed cost.

  2. Build & migrate

We configure ERPNext on a staging site, build what's needed and load your cleaned-up data.

  3. Test & train

Your team runs real transactions on staging and gets role-based training, while we fix anything that doesn't fit.

  4. Go live & support

Cut-over with a parallel run where needed, then close support through your first month-end and beyond.

Your System, Your Ownership

No lock-in. Ever.

ERPNext is open source, with no per-user licence fees. We set it up so you stay in control of your system, your data and your code.

01

Accounts in your name

Hosting, code repositories and administrator access belong to you, not to us.

02

Frappe Cloud or self-hosted

Managed hosting from the makers of ERPNext, or your own server. We help you choose and set up either.

03

Staging before production

Every change and upgrade is tested on a copy of your system first, so production stays stable.

04

Documented setup

Configuration and customisations are documented, so any competent ERPNext team could support you in future.

Worldwide

Implemented remotely, wherever you are.

Every stage of an ERPNext implementation works remotely: process workshops over video call, configuration on a staging site you can log into, and training by screen share. We overlap the full working day with the Gulf, mornings with the UK and Europe, and early mornings with the Americas.

ERPNext supports multiple currencies, companies and languages. We set up your country's taxes and reporting, using India Compliance for GST in India and regional apps or tax templates elsewhere. Proposals and invoices can be in USD, EUR, GBP, AED or INR.

FAQ

ERPNext implementation questions.

How long does an ERPNext implementation take?

It depends on scope. A focused rollout of accounting, buying, selling and stock for one company is usually a matter of weeks. Multi-company, manufacturing or heavily customised projects take longer. You get a timeline in the written proposal before work starts.

Does ERPNext have licence fees?

No. ERPNext is open source, with no per-user licence fees. You pay for hosting (Frappe Cloud or your own server) and for the implementation and support work.

Should we use Frappe Cloud or host ERPNext ourselves?

Frappe Cloud is managed hosting from the makers of ERPNext, with backups and updates handled for you. Self-hosting gives full control and can cost less at scale, but needs someone to maintain the server. We help you choose and can set up either.

Will customisations break when ERPNext is upgraded?

We never edit ERPNext's core code. Customisations live in a separate, version-controlled Frappe app and in standard configuration, and are tested on a staging site before each upgrade.

Can you move us from Tally, QuickBooks or other software?

Yes. We migrate masters, opening balances and opening stock, reconcile them against your old system, and can run both systems in parallel for a period before you switch over. See how we migrate to ERPNext.

Can you implement ERPNext remotely for a business outside India?

Yes. Workshops, configuration, data migration and training all happen over video call and screen share, with a staging site you can test on. We bill in USD, EUR, GBP, AED or INR.

Who owns the system after go-live?

You do. Hosting, code repositories and administrator access are set up in accounts you own, and the setup is documented, so you are never locked in.
